No matter what brand of the diesel generator set, their operation will be affected by the working environment. Among them, the three environmental factors of altitude, temperature, and humidity have a particularly obvious impact on the generator set.

1.Ambient temperature
The normal use ambient temperature of the diesel generator set is-15degrees to 40degrees. Below or above this temperature, other protective functions must be added to the diesel generator set. For example, when the temperature is low, auxiliary starting measures corresponding to the low-temperature start should be taken.

2.Altitude
The general use altitude of the diesel generating set is not higher than 1000 meters. For every 100meters of elevation, the output of the diesel generator set will drop by 5%. Because the higher the altitude, the lower the local air pressure, the air is thin, and the oxygen content is small, which will cause the unit to have poor combustion conditions due to insufficient air intake.

3.Air humidity
The humidity of the air also has an impact on the diesel generator set. If the unit is used in an environment with relatively high air humidity for a long time, it will cause great damage to the generator set and may even be unusable.

4.Based on the above, when using the diesel generator set, we must fully consider the impact of environmental factors on it, and try to avoid letting the unit be used in the environment with high altitude, ultra-blow or ultra-high temperature, and high humidity. During use, the corresponding protective measures must be installed to protect the normal operation of the unit.
