heavy trucks

Maintenance is an effective means to restore the performance of heavy trucks and extend their service life. However, in the actual operation process, some use and maintenance personnel have many wrong practices, affecting the normal use of heavy trucks.

  1. Avoid only adding oil without changing

Engine oil is indispensable in the use of diesel engines, mainly for lubrication, cooling and cleaning. Therefore, many drivers will pay attention to check the amount of lubricating oil and add it according to the standard, but they neglect the quality of the lubricating oil and replace the deteriorated engine oil. As a result, the moving parts of some engines always operate in a poorly lubricated environment, thereby accelerating the wear of various parts. Under normal circumstances, the loss of engine oil is not large, but it is easily polluted, thus losing the role of protecting the diesel engine. During the operation of the diesel engine, many contaminants (soot, carbon deposits and fouling generated by incomplete combustion of fuel) will enter the engine oil. During the operation of the diesel engine, many contaminants (soot, carbon deposits and fouling generated by incomplete combustion of fuel) will enter the engine oil. For new or overhauled machinery, there will be more impurities after the trial operation. If you only rush to put it into use without adding it, it is easy to cause accidents such as tile burning. In addition, even if the engine oil is changed, some drivers will not clean the oil passage thoroughly when replacing due to lack of maintenance experience or plan to save trouble, so that mechanical impurities still remain in the oil pan and the oil circuit.

  1. Avoid new products of cylinder liners and pistons to be installed without option.

When the cylinder liner and pistons are replaced, the new cylinder liner and piston are considered as replaced, the new cylinder liner and piston are considered as standard parts and are interchangeable, so they can be used after installation. In fact, the dimensions of the cylinder liner and the piston have a certain tolerance range. If the cylinder sleeve of the largest size is matched with the piston of the smallest size, the fit clearance will be too large, resulting in weak compression and difficulty in starting. Therefore, the size group code of the standard cylinder liner and piston must be checked during installation. The cylinder liner and piston must be installed so that the size group code of the standard piston is the same as the size group code of the standard cylinder liner. Standard fit clearance. In addition, when installing cylinder sleeves and pistons with the same group code for each cylinder, pay attention to check the clearance of the cylinder plug before installation. In order to ensure the assembly standard, a test should be carried out before installation to prevent the installation of fake and inferior defective products.
