The YC4D series engine is used in trucks. It is developed and designed based on the FEV technology platform and has the following features and benefits. First of all, the optimized design and flow characteristics of the intake system can achieve more intensive combustion, benefiting for ample power, excellent fuel efficiency, high reliability and ease of maintenance. Secondly, the piston is effectively cooled by the oil sprayed from the fuel injector, enabling engine to maintain high durability and reliability with high power, while greatly reducing oil consumption. Thirdly, the crankcase ventilation system can be used to control the design of the air pressure balance between the engine crankcase and the atmospheric pressure, helping to minimize the piston blow-by that escapes around the piston ring and enters the crankcase. And the specific integration of fuel system and turbocharger provides the best emission performance and the lowest operating cost. Finally, the crankshaft damper pulleys can effectively improve reliability by reducing the torsional vibration of the crankshaft. Simultaneously, dual balance shaft unit is optional to make the engine run quieter and more stable.
